Strategies for Achieving Institution’s Objectives
Significance
The national philosophy of education is based on the provision of equal education opportunity for every individual irrespective of gender, tribe religious inclination or status. However; it is observed that the system is unable to fully provide access to education and training to all its citizens thereby creating a demand gap. CALVARY Institute is born out of a sincere desire to participate in the education venture and by so doing, help in reducing the prevailing demand gap. Government has realized the need to involve the private sector in the provision of tertiary education services. In this wise, government has liberalized the education sector thereby creating enabling environment for private sector participation as an intervention in the expansion of education and provision of access. It is expected that the proposed institution will be part of the expansion project in education and will contribute meaningfully to manpower development and invariably, impact on the  economic  growth of the nation as graduates from the institution will become entrepreneurs and self-dependent citizens. The establishment of CALVARY Institute is therefore timely and significant to overall national development.
